Can you smoke when you are on safari?
Due to a variety of factors smoking is
not permitted in our safari vehicles. Regular stops will be
scheduled.
Will I be able to touch one of the Big
Game?
Yes, we at Big Game Safaris
guarantee our tourists of touching at least three of the Big
Five.
How long will a normal safari be?
A normal safari will be 3 to 7 days. As
Big Game Safaris specialize in
DAY TRIPS 1 day,
WEEKEND SAFARIS 3 days,
WEEK SAFARIS 7 days. & also Tailor made safaris of your
choice.
What is the maximum number of people
that can go on a safari?
We at Big Game Safaris can take up
to 45 people on any safari and up to 60 people on a day
trip.
What kind of safari clothes should I
take with me?
It all depends on what you planning to
do. Game drives will be conducted early morning and late
afternoon. In winter it can get very cold on the open safari
vehicles.
(April, May, June, July) The rest of the
year especially in the National Kruger Park area it’s hot &
sunny weather. However comfortable casual wear is suitable.
On the adrenalin adventures casual wear will be the best as
you can get dirty & wet.
When is the best time of the day to
view game?
Early mornings & late afternoon. However
game is seeable right through the day.
We at Big Game Safaris will make
sure that our tourists see as much game as possible.
Can I have my clothes washed while on
safari?
Most safari lodges and camps offer a
complimentary laundry service at a small cost.
How much money
should I bring?
You will need very little spending money
on most safaris as the majority of meals and activities are
included in your package cost.
How many people will be on safari?
Only members of your group. We do not
offer safaris to solo travellers. Groups must consist of
least two travellers.
What kind of insurance do I need for
my safari trip?
Comprehensive travel insurance will be
compulsory on all Big Game Safari trips.
